Here are some new photos! (I'm on a black and white kick.) The first portion was taken around Easter before we attended a friend's wedding, the middle portion in early Fall and the latter portion near Thanksgiving at an impromptu photo shoot at nearly dusk. We got very lucky with cooperative weather, good behavior and a sturdy tripod! (Thanks Nono Jeff!)

The Snuggie

I, like many lucky Americans this holiday, received a Snuggie for Christmas. A Snuggie! That's purple! And looks like Dubs the UW Husky barfed his logo all over it.

See, historically I thought Snuggies were stupid. And then I got one and I still thought it was stupid. But then I put it on and...well, it's still stupid but I must say I. Love. It! Not only because it leaves no doubt as to my Apple Cup loyalties, but because it's effing comfortable! And soft! And...Snuggl-ie! But most of all I love it because it makes me look like Gandalf.

See?

(That isn't me, it's some skinny chick from Iowa, but you can see the resemblance. No silly, not to me, to Gandalf! She even has his haircut.)

Now go git yourself one! Go on, git!

Postscript: I saw a sad little reject pile of WSU ones at Pacific Fabrics in the back corner...so sad...

Donut Pajamas

Because pajamas aren't cool enough, they went and made some WITH DONUTS ON THEM.

Naturally they're only available in, like, 2T, so only one member of this household gets to wear them.

Sad.

But AWESOME.

Hello, World!

Imagine my surprise when I was trolling through my favorite blogs and discovered ...my own! It's been more than a year since we've posted here, and while I'm pretty sure the only person left who ever looks here is my pal Kate, I'm gunna re-up and say hello. Hello!

The last 14 months have been productive for our family. Tiny Man is now 4, Stinky 2.5. Both are rabid talkers and, luckily for us, they like each other. I just finished my fifth quarter of physical therapy school, and Josh's tenure at the ol' Courthouse is still going strong. We've celebrated some family weddings, some births and many an interesting life change (e.g. haircuts) since we last chatted. For the details on all of this, find me on Facebook where we've chronicled everything interesting since October last.
